Feminist Studies scholarship can make students’ experiences with theater even more meaningful. For an example of what bringing Feminist Studies and Theater together can look like, check out the class “Performing Reproductive Politics,” wherein students engaged with academic Feminist Studies texts about abortion and then drew from this scholarship as they produced the play Jane: Abortion and the Underground.
