Thinking, learning, and existing in interesting ways requires, above all else, a willingness to ask complicated questions.
And then, as we work through them, a commitment to refuse simple answers, to sit with contradictions, to examine the affects that stick to knowledge, to assume good intentions among our interlocutors, to be undone through this process—and all the while somehow manage to still do something with these thoughts, this information, these feelings.

The Public Feminsim Labs focus on translating Feminist Studies ideas into alternative and creative formats that can circulate beyond typical academic and activist spaces. We can serve as consultants on Public Feminism Labs that you’d like to launch or we can facilitate customized Labs that meet the unique needs of your company, department, or organization. While the approaches below have been primarily used within college classes and Women’s Centers thus far, each could be transformed to meet the needs of non-profits and businesses that are committed to building a diverse and engaged team through life-long learning, DEI, or team-building opportunities.
